Students will be required to respond to a varying types of questions throughout the school year in Reading and in their Content classes. As students approach the Constructed Response questions, they will be required to use the RACE strategy to answer. This involves RESTATING the QUESTION - ANSWERING in their OWN WORDS - CITING evidence and examples - and EXPLAINING how the EVIDENCE SUPPORTS their answer. Below is an example student template as well as 2 student responses from last school year.
